What We Believe

All Colorado citizens deserve access to affordable and reliable energy.

ACTION NEEDED NOW!!

Stop The Ritter Rules: New regulations will increase energy prices by $1.7 billion!

No New TaxesGovernor Bill Ritter has endorsed energy development rules that amount to a huge new tax on Coloradans, and will add to the cost of gasoline and home heating fuels.  The Ritter Rules are going to hit every family in Colorado right in the pocketbook - just as we are paying more and more each week for gasoline and other fuels.

A recent study by ICF International shows that Ritter's Rules will increase consumer energy prices by $1.7 BILLION over the next 10 years...Adding $900 to the average family's energy bill!

The Ritter Rules will hurt low- and middle-income families in Colorado the most.  That's because working families have to pay a higher share of their income for energy costs than rich people do. The Ritter Rules will raise energy costs for Colorado's poor.

Gov_Ritter_PhotoWhy has the Governor endorsed such a harmful, regressive policy on the people of our state?  Because he has been swayed by a handful of environmental elitists that people can afford to pay more to fill their gas tanks and heat their homes.

These environmental elitists actually want to see energy prices skyrocket, because they want working families in Colorado to feel pain every time they use energy - so we are forced to use less energy.

These elitists don't think Coloradans are smart enough to conserve energy on their own.

TELL GOVERNOR RITTER THAT YOU OPPOSE HIS NEW ENERGY RULES

Go here and take 60 seconds to tell your elected officials not to raise energy prices on your family.
